Batman #39 (DC, 1947) Condition: VF-. Catwoman stories were always fun because there was so much electricity between her and Batman! In this issue's Christmas story, as the Caped Crusader escorts the villainess off to the authorities, she spots some mistletoe and says "Don't just stand there -- kiss me!" It's not really clear to the reader if Batman does so or not... That story was drawn by Ray Burnley, and the cover is credited to Ray's brother Jack Burnley. This copy, which has off-white pages, could not be encapsulated by CGC due to an overhang. Overstreet 2006 VF 8.0 value = $719. From the Collection of Harold Curtis.
