Batman #32 Double Cover (DC, 1945) CGC VF/NM 9.0 White pages. This early issue is a favorite for fans of the artist Dick Sprang. Despite the CGC info listing Jerry Robinson as artist, Sprang drew all three Batman stories inside, including one which retells Robin's origin. The Joker also stars in "Rackety-Rax Racket" as... a college student! But the real thrills come with the time-travel tale, "All For One, One For All," co-starring the Three Musketeers. Sprang was quoted as saying this was a personal favorite, and the only art he asked DC to return. This remarkable copy was blessed with bone white pages and an extra cover. CGC notes, "1st cover 7.5, interior cover 9.0." Overstreet 2005 VF/NM 9.0 value = $1,094; NM- 9.2 value = $1,475. CGC census 6/05: 3 in 9.0, 3 higher.
