<B>Batman #232 (DC, 1971) CGC NM+ 9.6 White pages.</B></I> We think whoever paid $896 for the last 9.6 copy we offered must be grinning to himself right about now, and while that may seem a strange statement to make about a book from 1971, this issue has everything going for it: the first appearance of Ra's al Ghul, a memorable cover, and one of the greatest Batman stories of all time (drawn by Neal Adams and written by Denny O'Neil) which has deservedly been reprinted again and again. Plus, even the high prices have failed to bring many 9.8s to light, so a 9.6 with this page quality is very desirable indeed. Overstreet 2007 NM- 9.2 value = $220.
