J. Bavasi, president of the San Diego Baseball Company, in part: "I have just seen copy of letter to Col. Burns from Crocker Citizens Bank re Davis. This and some letters you have written, plus your conversations with Fresco, have me puzzled as to the facts"; a TLS from Giles, signed "Warren C. Giles," The National League of Professional Baseball Clubs letterhead, December 17, 1965, addressed to National League president Phil Piton, in part: "The National League representatives on the High School Committee will be John Holland, of Chicago, and John McHale, of Atlanta"; a TLS from Veeck, signed "Bill Veeck," St. Louis Browns letterhead, April 16, 1952, addressed to Jim Raglin of the Nebraska State Journal, in part: "Both articles were real nice, and at least we got publicity on the game even if we never got to play it"; and a ballpoint signature, "Tom Yawkey," on an off-white 3.25 x 1 slip affixed to a color Perez-Steele postcard of the longtime Red Sox owner. In overall fine condition. Accompanied by the original mailing envelope for the Veeck letter, and a full letter of authenticity from JSA for the O'Malley letter.
