Near-complete set of signed 1982 Donruss baseball cards, consisting of 648 signed cards from the 653 card set, featuring an abundance of Hall of Famers, all-stars, and rarities, including the complete ‘Diamond Kings’ subset. Some signers include: Cal Ripken, Jr. (rookie card), Nolan Ryan (2), George Brett (2), Rod Carew (2), Gary Carter (2), Carl Yastrzemski, Rickey Henderson, Mike Schmidt, Dave Winfield (2), Carlton Fisk (2), Ozzie Smith (2), Tom Seaver, Dennis Eckersley, Joe Morgan, Billy Martin, Robin Yount, Phil Niekro (2), Rollie Fingers, Johnny Bench, Sparky Anderson, Yogi Berra, Steve Carlton, Paul Molitor, Andre Dawson, Jim Rice, Tom Lasorda, Bert Blyleven, Whitey Herzog, Bruce Sutter, Tony Perez, Frank Robinson, Don Sutton, Eddie Murray, Reggie Jackson, Bob Lemon, Willie Stargell, and Fergie Jenkins. The multi-player cards are also signed by both subjects: Guidry and John; Jackson and Winfield; Schmidt and Rose; and Seaver and Bench. Many of the other signers are quite difficult to obtain due to the player’s obscurity or reluctance to sign; the autographs needed to complete the set are Jerry Martin, Danny Goodwin, Cesar Geronimo, Reggie Cleveland, and Silvio Martinez. In overall fine condition. Fully signed sets from this era are incredibly difficult to assemble and rarely offered; the vast majority of these signatures were obtained in person, making the achievement of near-completion even more remarkable.
