1940's Bill Klem Single Signed Baseball. It's been said that the sign of a good umpire is that nobody notices him, and while this is a positive on the field of play, it's an unfortunate fact for Hall of Fame autograph collectors. Despite thirty-seven years behind the Major League plate, including a record eighteen World Series appearances, Klem was rarely a target for autograph seekers. As such, this single stands as one of the few available in the hobby today, ready to fill the empty spot that exists in most Hall of Fame collections. The well-worn ONL (Frick) ball features a 7/10 black fountain pen autograph from the man who joined Tom Connolly as the first umpires inducted into Cooperstown in 1953. It will likely be a long wait before you see another Klem single, so interested parties should pay close attention. LOA from James Spence Authentication.

Shipping: Balls, Pucks, etc., Small (view shipping information)

Important noti
