Despite thirty-seven years behind the Major League plate, including a record eighteen World Series appearances, Klem was rarely a target for autograph seekers. The well-worn ONL (Frick) ball features a 7/10 black fountain pen autograph from the man who joined Tom Connolly as the first umpires inducted into Cooperstown in 1953.
