<B>Barnum and Bailey, Greatest Show on Earth Letter</B></I> written on January 19, 1895, features the elaborate letterhead of "The Greatest Showman on Earth," Phineas Taylor Barnum, and his partner James Anthony Bailey. The beautiful engraving atop the letter pictures both men and touts the company's virtues (conducted on sound business principles) and its attractions (the world's grandest, largest, best amusement institution). The circus was eventually sold to Ringling Brothers on July 8, 1907. The letterhead is highlighted with gold ink.
