About 160 Bank of Kentucky stocks issued in the 1840s, signed by documented slave-trader Virgil M. Knight (aka Virgil McNight) a man who was later credited with preserving the credit and good-faith of the State of Kentucky when he saved the Bank of Kentucky's reputation from scandal by honoring its debts following the "Crash of 1837", after H. J. Levis, the Cashier of Schuylkill Bank (principal stock agent of the Bank of Kentucky) fraudulently issued 4,500 shares of the Bank of Kentucky fleeing the Country when stockholders discovered the crime.
