TERMS AND CONDITIONS
THE AUCTION: The auction will be held at the Holiday Inn Midtown, Governor Room, 420 Sherbrooke West, Montreal, QC on Friday March 7 & Saturday March 8, 2008 at 6:30 pm. Lots can also be viewed on Lower Canada Auction’s website at www.lowercanadaauction.com
IMPORTANT: You are strongly urged to thoroughly read the following Terms & Conditions. Placing a bid in this sale constitutes your acceptance of them.
BIDDING PROCEDURE: Bids can be placed in person or through an agent at the auction by mail or fax. All phone bids 450-723-1204 must be confirmed in writing on bid sheet and faxed to us (same number).
Lots will be sold to the highest bidder. In the case of identical bids, Floor bidders will have priority. Unlimited or “buy” bids will not be accepted.
All bids equal or less than 50% of our estimation can be refused at the auctioneer’s discretion. Phone, fax or e-mail bids must reach us by Thursday March 7th, 2008 at 9:00 p.m. eastern time.
PURCHASER’S COMMISSION: For all floor and mail bidders a Purchaser’s Commission of 13% will be added to the Hammer Price.
The total of the Hammer Price and the Purchaser’s Commission will constitute the selling price. For all eBay bidders a Purchases Commission of 18 % will be added to the Hammer Price. The total of the Hammer and the Purchaser’s Commission will constitute the selling price.
PAYMENT: All payments must be received before April 5th,
2008 in order for us to pay our consignors. Payments received after this date are invalid and will be at the discretion of the consignor if they are still for sale.
CHARLTON CATALOGUE NUMBERING SYSTEM: The use of the Charlton Catalogue Numbering System is used to assist bidders and remains the sole property of Charlton International Inc.
RETURN POLICIES: There will be a 5-day return privilege extended only to absentee bidders and eBay bidders, for coins, tokens and multiple item lots (non-certified) incorrectly described. They must be returned in the exact condition that they were sent out, complete in their original unopened holder. This privilege is not applicable after April 5, 2008, as the consignors have already been paid. For banknotes, all sales are final with no return privileges, and third party certified coins are sold as is and cannot be returned on grading disagreement. Also no return for floor bidders or their agents.
SALES TAXES: No Taxes will be collected for delivery outside Canada. Taxable items delivered to NB, NF or NS, HST of 14% charge of total selling price. All items delivered to Quebec, 6% GST and 7.5% PST of the Selling Price is collected, all coins delivered to the rest of Canada, 6% GST of the Selling Price is collected. All precious metals (bars or coins) in Gold- Silver-Platinum, pure 999 are NOTTaxable..
SHIPPING (Canada) Lots are shipped using Canada Xpresspost (Tracking number and signature, but no insurance) & register mail .The winner agrees to pay all fees associated with Xpresspost & registered mail and handling, sent at winner’s own risk. All claims must be addressed with the post office in case of loss, stolen or non-delivered items…. Minimum FEE to ship in Canada is $14. Private Insurance by FedEx or Xpresspost only at a cost of $2 per $100 value.
SHIPPING in USA by FedEx at $60.00 U.S fund, or By Xpresspost $14 U.S, both services at winner’s own risk. For interested parties, Lower Canada Auction offers Private Insurance for FedEx or Xpresspost at a cost of $2 per $100 value.
Worldwide shipping: By register mail at $40.00 US minimum at the winner own risk. Payment by Bank Draft only. (We accept PAYPAL with 4% of the total invoice)

PROCÉDURE DE MISE: Les mises peuvent être faites en personne ou par l’entremise d’un agent durant l’encan, par courriel à info@lowercanadaauction.com, par téléphone au 450-723-1204 ou par fax au 450-723-1204. Les mises par téléphone doivent être confirmées par courriel à info@lowercanadaauction.com ou par fax au 450-723-1204. Les lots seront vendus à la personne ayant la plus haute mise. Dans le cas de mises identiques, la mise du plancher aura priorité. Les mises illimitées ou “achat” ne seront pas acceptés. Toutes mises égales ou inférieures à 50% de l’estimation peuvent être rejetées à la discrétion de l’encanteur. Les mises par téléphone, fax ou courriel doivent nous parvenir au plus tard le jeudi 1 novembre, 2007 à 21h, heure de l’est.
COMMISSION: Pour tout miseur au plancher, par poste, ou par courriel une Commission de 13% sera ajouté aux Prix Adjugés. Le total du Prix Adjugé et de la Commission sera considéré comme le Prix Vendu. Pour tous les miseurs sur eBay une Commission de 18% sera ajouté aux Prix Adjugés.

L’usage du système de numérotation de catalogue Charlton est utilisé pour aider le miseur et demeure la propriété de Charlton International Inc.
POLITIQUE DE RETOUR: Les lots gagnés avec mise par téléphone, fax, courriel ou sur eBay pourront être retourné dans les 5 jours suivant leurs réception dans l’emballage original non ouvert seulement si la description du lot est erronés (erreur de description du lot). À noter pour les billets de banque, la vente est final et sans privilège de retour, ainsi que les pièces certifier par ICCS, CCCS, PCGS, NGC, ICG et autres pour divergence de grade.
Aussi aucun retour pour tous les lots gagnés au plancher ou par un agent.
TAXES DE VENTES: Tous lots livrés à l’extérieur du Canada, il n’y a pas de taxes chargées, Tout lot livrés au NB; NS; et Terre-Neuve, 14% de taxe harmonisée sera ajouté au Prix Vendu. Tout lot livrés au Québec, 6% de TPS et 7.5% de TVP sera ajouté au Prix Vendu. Tout lots livrés dans le reste du Canada, 6% de TPS sera ajouté au Prix Vendu…Aucune taxes ne sera charger, pour les Métaux-Précieux ou pièce de monnaies en or ou argent pur 999.
EXPÉDITION : (Frais de base) Les lots seront expédiés par Xpresspost sans assurance par Poste Canada avec signature et numéro de traçage. Les frais de port, d’assurance, de recommandation ou de manutention sont à la charge du client et exécutés aux risques et périls du client. Des frais minimum de $14.00 seront charger pour toute expédition aux Canada….Les expéditions vers les États-Unis seront par Fedex $60.00 US ou Xpresspost aux coûts de $14.00 US. Toute réclamation devra être adressées au transporteur en cas de perte, vol ou dommage causé à un envoie. Par contre LOWER CANADAAUCTION offre aux miseurs une police d’assurance privé aux coûts de $2.00 par tranche de $100.00 de la valeur déclarée.
