Bloomington, Illinois. Lot of 4 notes (uncut sheet of 4), 18xx (ca.1960-70's), $1-2-3-5, (IL-60-G2a; IL-60-G4a; IL-60-G6a; IL-60-G8a SENC) Modern "Proprietary Proofs". The $1 proof has a man with sack and 2 horses on the left, and portrait of man at right; the $2 note has farmer plowing on right with girl in middle; the $3 has surveyors on left and oxen pulling wagon in middle; and the $5 note has men with boat and dogs with sled on lower left and man on lower right. Notches on all 4 margins for printing registration. Black printing without underprint printed on thin white card, Uncirculated condition. The $5 note is listed as "SENC" in Haxby. TC&C. Archival "Proprietary" proofs rarely seen in sheet form.
