10 Letters or letter reply copies dating from October 11th, 1904 to March 4th, 1905. All the letters from the Banco Nacional De Cuba are on the bank letterhead with the title text "Banco Nacional De Cuba - National Bank of Cuba - Government Depositary - (Head Office HAVANA)" with list of branches on upper left and an outline map of Cuba as a light yellow brown undertint under the title text. There are 4 letters from the bank on their letterhead and there are 4 response copies of letters from ABNC to the bank that have no letterhead, but only the written part of the letter. In addition, there is 2 pages on an ABNC "Engraving and Printing, Order Blank" printed on pink paper describing the ordered work and the price of the order. This historic and unique correspondence file mainly relates to the printing of "Interim Certificates" for the Bank by ABNC. The highlight of this file is the last letter response dated August 8, 1905 by ABNC to Banco Nacional De Cuba stating diplomatically "....we find that there remains two accounts outstanding against your Bank - one of $6063.85, being balance due on preparation of your Bank Notes, and another of $37.50 for furnishing 500 Interim Certificates". This historic reference relates to the printing of the "1905 First Issue - Pesos System and Second Issue - Dollar System ", P-65 to P-P-68D, 1 Peso to 10 Pesos and $1 to $10 banknotes printed by ABNC for the National Bank of Cuba.
