Rare 1937 animation cel from Walt Disney's ''Bambi,'' one of the most beloved animated movies of all time. This cel, showing the skunk Flower chasing a butterfly is an especially delightful scene from the movie, which, though started in 1937, wasn't released until 1942 due to production problems. Cel measures 7.75'' x 7'', housed in the original frame from the Courvoisier Gallery, one of the first to sell animation art. Cel is stamped WD within a circle at the lower right corner. Some cracking to Flower's image, but no loss. Very good.
