Ballard No. 5 Pacific single shot rifle by Marlin, .45 Gov’t cal., 30” octagon barrel, blue and case hardened finish, wood stocks, wood cleaning rod, #16270. This gun is in overall very good condition showing agrey/brown patina on barrel with some scattered spots of erosion, traces of case color on receiver with balance to a silvery tone, very good bore with strong rifling, double set triggers working at time ofdescription; good wood fore stock with butt stock showing wear, an old crack running the length of the stock from receiver to butt plate, numerous old nicks and mars from carry and storage.
