The $50 and $100 bonds were printed by the small New Orleans printer John Douglas, while the $500 and $1000 bonds were printed by the Southern Bank Note Company (nom de guerre of the ABNCo New Orleans) without their imprint. These were once mounted with stamp hinges. The $1000 bond has a small hole.<BR><I>From The William A.
