Stock #147 for 50 shares to C Goodwin. The Badger was incorporated on April 22, 1875 four days before the stock was issued. This company must have created quite a stir to sell so much stock so quickly, but like so many other mines, faded quietly into history. Charles Goodwin signature on back. Goodwin was a probate judge for the territory and one of the first state district judges. He was a newspaperman by trade and in 1873 went to work for the Territorial Enterprise as assistant editor.
