Bacon .31 caliber percussion revolver, 5” barrel, blued finish, wood grips, fluted cylinder, plain frame, serial #25. Shows Bacon Mfg Company, Norwich Connecticut address. Refer Flayderman 7A-008. The pistol remains in very good original condition showing approx. 75-85% original blue on barrel and cylinder, evenly drifting at the edges and going to brownish patina. Some scattered light erosion and pinprick pitting. The cylinder shows a slight index line, the frame shows 10-20% bl the balance flaked and going to a brown patina. The loading lever and hammer shows considerable case hardening, at least 30-50% within their patina. The varnish wood grips are very good with 30-50% varnish, normal edge wear, at least very good. The action is tight, the interior near excellent. A crispy Bacon. Est: $700 - $1,400
