Original production used photo by ILM for animation effects. This background photo would be used to add smoke, time travel effects and so forth. This photo has a frame hand written number on the bottom corner. Used in the production of "Back to the Future Part III" (1990), the Robert Zemeckis science fiction movie where, learning about the death of Doc Brown in 1885, Marty travels back in time to save him. But when the fuel tank on the time machine is punctured, the two must figure out a way to escape the Old West before Emmet is murdered.
The film was directed by Robert Zemeckis, and stars Michael J. Fox, Christopher Lloyd, Mary Steenburgen, Thomas F. Wilson and Lea Thompson.
