This oversized head was custom-made by Los Angeles-based artist Kim Baise for the production of the film Babylon. The head is not a replica; it is an actual piece acquired by the production for use by an extra at Jack Conrad’s (Brad Pitt) extravagant party.
Crafted in Baise’s signature papier-mâché style, this large-scale wearable head is a bold and surreal representation of a green-skinned, cartoonishly exaggerated face with oversized black lips, dramatic eyebrows, and wide eyes accentuated with long black lashes. The head features sculpted black hair and is adorned with a leafy green printed scarf around the base. The interior is reinforced with a white PVC frame and lined with fabric ties to secure it on the wearer. The interior bears a handwritten label reading “Kim Baise,” identifying the artist.
Measuring an impressive 53" tall by approximately 28" wide and 28" deep, this piece is both a functional costume element and an unmistakable piece of visual art. It exhibits expected wear from production use, particularly around the base, but remains in overall good condition. This is a standout artifact from one of the film’s most chaotic and visually striking scenes.

The item(s) may exhibit varying levels of wear and studio distressing, as detailed in the listing images that provide an accurate representation of the condition.
