Have you ever wondered why us Brits find it so easy to eat with a fork, held upside down in our left hand and a knife in our right? It is because as soon as we can sit up and hold a spoon to feed ourselves a SPOON is put into our left hand and a PUSHER in our right. We are encouraged to push the food onto the spoon. We later graduated to a "Youth" set, a smaller than usual knife and fork and eventually to a full size knife and fork. I still have the paper from my daughters first year in school at the age of 4 asking me to ensure that she could "tie her own shoelaces" and "can use a knife and fork properly" How times change!! This pusher is 2.3/4" long and 1.1/2" wide. What is the old saying? "Born with a silver spoon in its mouth?"
