Vintage matte-finish 8 x 10 photo of Babe Ruth posing on a roof top with his agent Christy Walsh and famed sports journalist Joe Williams, signed and inscribed in fountain pen “To my pal Christy, Sincerely, Babe Ruth” and also signed and inscribed, “To Christy Walsh, an all-time all-America friend from Joe Williams 1940.” Photo is housed in its original frame to an overall size of 8.75 x 11. Some scattered light creases, a few lightly affecting Ruth’s inscription, a small tear to right edge near Williams’s inscription, and some scattered light surface marks, otherwise fine condition.
