Vintage 9.25 x 7.5 game photo of Ruth taking a swing against his old team, the Boston Red Sox at Fenway Park in 1931, signed and inscribed in fountain pen “To Matty Martin from Babe Ruth, Aug 6, 1931.” Matted and framed to an overall size of 17.75 x 14.5. In fine condition. While Ruth signed many photos during his lifetime, actual game action photos signed by the Bambino are by far the scarcest and most desirable of all. Against his former team the Red Sox, this is an item of the utmost rarity. Accompanied by a full letter of authenticity and grading from PSA/DNA, grading the autograph a “9.”
