Cal. 32-20. S# 52235. Bbl. 25 1/4". Blade front sight. Ladder rear sight graduated to 600yds. Action has additional Australian issue number. Bbl., butt stock & breech all match either serial or issue numbers. Pre-WW1 Australian training rifle made on a Martini action by BSA. Bbl. top marked "32-20". Receiver top marked with Kangaroo. Left side of receiver has BSA markings. Right side of receiver has "COMMONWEALTH OF AUSTRALIA VIC" marking. Blued finish. Walnut stock set with Commonwealth of Australia roundel & 6/11 date. Bottom mounted sling swivels. CONDITION: stock set has a few gouges, scattered dings, scratches & handling marks. Upper buttplate screw is chipped & missing half. Metal retains 50% original blue with scattered fading to brown, oxidation, edge wear & handling marks. Action functions properly when hand cycled. Very good bright bore with strong rifling.
