A screen-matched pair of baronial-style thrones from Mel Gibson's historical epic Braveheart. The thrones sat in King Edward's (Patrick McGoohan) chamber, where Prince Edward (Peter Hanly) used one to prop up his target during archery practice. Edward also sat on the other throne following his coronation.

The thrones match those seen on screen through the pattern of the woodgrain and the placement of the arrow mark. They were originally commissioned for Franco Zeffirelli's Hamlet, also starring Gibson, and recycled for use on Braveheart. The thrones are made of solid wood, and each comes with a red velvet cushion. They have some wear from production use and age, including some scuffing and scratches. Dimensions: 68 cm x 79 cm x 194 cm (26 3/4" x 31" x 76 1/2")
