King Edward I's (Patrick McGoohan) tunic and crown from Mel Gibson's Academy Award-winning medieval biopic Braveheart. The King donned his tunic as he confronted Prince Edward (Peter Hanly) after discovering Wallace (Mel Gibson) had successfully sacked the city of York, and later added his crown to his regal ensemble during the Battle of Falkirk.

The red diamond-patterned tunic features an orange-striped trim, and the traditional English heraldry of the three lions adorns the front. A Penny McVitie label with handwritten text reading "P. McGoohan, The King, Braveheart" is sewn inside the neckline. Designed to fit over a chain mail hood, and large enough to accomodate McGoohan's wig, the faux-gold metal crown displays repeating fleur-de-lis-style pieces, and has a padded suede band adhered to the inside. Sections of one of the tunic's lions have become detached over time, and loose threads are present along the trim and hem. The crown displays minor paint wear and scratches.

Estimate: 2,000 - 3,000 M
