BR(S) enamel station sign "British Railways Sandling Junction Ticket Office" (with feathered arrow). 53"x12", minor edge chip repainting only. Opened by the SER in 1888, this station was renamed "Sandling For Hythe" in 1951; "Sandling" from 1980, so this sign can only have been displayed for three years. Ashford-Folkestone line (see Lots 415 and 461).
