BOLIVIA, Potosí, cob 8 reales, Philip III, assayer not visible, quadrants of cross transposed, no Grade on certificate, ex-Atocha (1622), mounted shield-side out in twisted 14K gold pendant with dolphins embellishment and shackle bail. 34.20 grams total. Very nice, solid coin which is unquestionably Grade-1 quality even with no Grade given on the certificate, bold shield with clear denomination to right, choice full cross with lions-and-castles transposed, part of legend showing, surfaces with very light saltwater effect and rich gray silver toning, securely mounted in its decorative bezel. From the Atocha (1622), with original Fisher tag and certificate 85A-190779.
