BOLIVIA, Potosí, cob 8 reales, Philip III, assayer T, quadrants of cross transposed, Grade 1, ex-Atocha (1622), mounted shield-side out in 14K gold flat and twisted-wire bezel with shackle bail and non-shipwreck emerald at top. 32.85 grams total. Squarish, bright and silvery coin with little contrast but lots of detail mounted in a three-pronged gold wire bezel wrapped in twisted gold wire outside, a high-quality square emerald and large, very thin shackle bail affixed to the top. From the Atocha (1622), with Fisher tag and photo-certificate 85A-300386.
