BOLIVIA, Potosí, cob 8 reales, (1649) O, with crowned-O (low O, rare) countermark on shield. S-P35; KM-19b; Cal-1487. 19.16 grams. Full but off-center shield with clear assayer to left and denomination to right and nearly full countermark at top near edge, full but doubled cross, lightly toned, thin from corrosion, with large crack that crosses the center plus several small edge-splits. With original tag from the salvors. Recovered from: Capitana, sunk in 1654 off Chanduy, Ecuador
