<B>New York, NY</B></I> - $5-$5-$5-$5 1902 Plain Back Fr. 598 <B>The National Park Bank</B></I> Ch. # 891 Uncut Sheet<BR>The National Park Bank issued over 999,999 sheets of 1902 $5s. Therefore it became one of the few banks in the country that had to go to having an "A" prefix tacked onto its later serial numbers for $5 notes. This "A" prefix serial number sheet presented here also carries U4-V4-W4-X4 plate letters. This shows how many plates were used to print this denomination for this bank as this is at the very end of the fourth time through the alphabet for $5 plates. This recent discovery makes it only the third sheet on this bank to survive with the A prefix serial numbers.
