Posters for this title are renowned for their rarity, and this card is certainly no exception.

The promotional image for the comedy crime drama directed by Roy Del Ruth features the stunning blonde Joan Blondell in a bathtub, with James Cagney scrubbing her back, yet not gazing at her. This piece, regarded as one of the finest from the set of cards, remains unrestored and exhibits three pinholes in the upper margin, sporadic light edge wear, and several smudges on the white backdrop.

James Cagney's first leading role following his rise to stardom in "The Public Enemy" was not as a gangster like Tom Powers, which he is famously known for, but as Bert Harris, a character more reflective of his early screen persona. During the pre-code era, Cagney often portrayed more of a grifter than a gangster.
