Frank and his father Bert have been guiding in their territory located in the Stuart Lake area of north central British Columbia for 30 years. This is big bear country. Their bears average between 5 and 7 feet, and their record bear was 7’ 5”. During a one week hunt in 2011, 4 hunters took boars over 6’6” (two of those were over 7’). Omineca Guides have had a success rate of 100% on black bears for a number of years now. Stay at comfortable, lakeside Omineca Lodge in private cabins. All meals are included and there is fishing at the front door. Have a non-hunting companion join you for $850 US or hunting companion for market value. Drive yourself to the lodge or transfer from the airport can be arranged for an additional $250 US. Departure point: Prince George, BC

ONLINE BIDDERS AUTHORIZE GOABC TO CHARGE THEIR LISTED CREDIT CARD FOR THE FULL AMOUNT OF EACH SUCCESSFUL BID PLACED BY ONLINE BIDDER IMMEDIATELY UPON THE CLOSE OF THE AUCTION. Unless otherwise specified, the outfitter will be responsible for the care of the preliminary trophy preparation, salting and transportation of trophies and meat to the departure point, at no additional cost. Departure point is noted in each donation profile.
The successful auction bidder will be responsible for all transportation costs and crating for the departure point to their home or taxidermist. Licenses, tags and other fees are at the expense of the successful bidder. Upon receipt of certified funds, the outfitter will acquire licenses and tags prior to the hunt.
In the hunt listings, you will see the from time to time the letters “TBA” which means “to be arranged” with the guide outfitter. Successful bidders will be required to sign an insurance liability waiver form prior to taking their hunt or other wilderness trip. All trips must be taken within the time specified. Any changes are at the sole discretion of the guide outfitter making the donation. All trips are for one person unless otherwise specified.
GOABC reserves the right to alter, delete or modify any of the items described in this profile. Final descriptions and lists of items will be available prior to the auction. Pictures shown depict the outfitters game where ever possible.
GOABC does not act as an agent for, or represent, either the buyer or seller but merely provides an environment for binding together the buyer and seller for the purpose of sales transactions.
GOABC reserves the right of refusal on any trip that does not meet 50% of the market value.
