Best remembered as the “good witch” in the <i>Wizard of Oz</i>. Her book, <i>With A Feather On My Nose</i>, 8vo, 268pp, Appleton-Century-Crofts, Inc., New York, 1949. Illustrated. Boldly signed and inscribed on title page, adding “<i>Hoping you will like it - 1949.</i>” Dust cover is water damaged with scattered soiling and staining and 4¼" tear along paper spine; interior and text remains crisp and clear; else in good condition.</span></p>

1. Auction Catalogue No. 19 is a Mail, Fax, Phone, Email and
Internet Live Bid Auction and is conducted under the laws of the State
of West Virginia by Gil Griggs, Licensee of Charleston, W. V. License
No. 002.
2. Absentee bid closing date is April 5th, 2002, 10:00 PM EST.
3. There is a 15% Buyer’s Premium charged on the final hammer price
of each lot. An additional 2½% Premium will be added to any lots
purchased through ebayliveauctions.com.
4. The Auctioneer reserves the right to reject any bid for any
reason.
5. The Auctioneer reserves the right to withdraw any lot for any
reason.
6. In the event of duplicate high bids, the earliest bid received
will be the winner.
