Bill Mittag paints oil on linen, whose
favorite subjects are the peaceful camp
settings of the Northern and Southern Plains
Tribes. He exhibits in notable museum/
gallery shows as the Gilcrease Museum,
C.M. Russell Museum, Albuquerque
Museum, Museum of Western Art, Settlers
West Gallery (miniature), Peppertree Art
Show, National Western Art, Panhandle
Plains Museum, Nita Stewart Haley Library,
and the Mountain Oyster Club Show. His art
has been in featured articles of Southwest
Art and American Artist magazines. He is
a member of the Western Artist of America
and Lifetime Artist Member – Mountain
Oyster Club. Awards include Best of Show
(oils) in the National Western Art Show at
Ellensburg, WA, and the Indian Heritage
Award (Western Art Roundup). Bill and his
wife reside in Glendale, Arizona.
