"...I shall be obliged, if you will send by the bearer - twelve prints of my Portrait - good impressions - that engraved by Miss Watson from Stewards picture, and with them the Bill of their price. Setting with my servant, I find he in my absence received from your messenger two guineas and a half for a pair of prints (Charles and Cromwells) - the price you have always had them at as well as others of the trade being two guineas - I have inclosed you the half guinea as your property, wishing to rectify the mistake..."
