BELA LUGOSI'S DRACULA STAGE USED MAKEUP KIT
This is what I believe, and have determined to be the actual PERSONAL MAKE-UP KIT OF BELA LUGOSI. THE ONE HE USED ON TOUR PERFORMING STAGE PLAYS AS DRACULA. THE ROLE THAT MADE HIM THE LEGEND HE IS.
IT IS A MORTICIANS MAKE UP KIT WITH BOTTLES AND TINS OF BROW DARKENER,LIP ROUGE,ETC.A FEW INTERESTING ITEMS ARE ONE THAT CONTAINS "SUN TAN" MAKE UP. I ASSUME PART OF THE ORIGINAL KIT,AND A PIECE HE KEPT IN IT FOR IRONY. THE MOST INTERESTING ITEMS ARE 2 BOTTLES OF A SUBSTANCE CALLED "TISSUE BUILDER SOLVENT". THIS IS SYRINGE CLEANER! NOW WHAT WHAT THEY BE DOING IN A MAKE UP KIT?

AMONGST THE COOLEST HORROR COLLECTION IN THE WORLD, THIS IS A PRIZED POSSESSION. ONE I FEEL VERY PRIVILEGED TO OWN AS IT IS ARGUABLE THE SINGLE MOST SIGNIFICANT ARTIFACT IN THE HISTORY OF HORROR!

Comes with full provenance from JOE FRANKLIN. The celebrity interviewer who created the format we now call "The Talk Show". His date of 1952 coincides with Bela's stop in New York on his way from London to Los Angeles. On top of that, I have dated the kit to the 1920's, and researched the artifact enough that I believe it to be genuine.

The authors of the book Vampire Over London even showed interest in it, and had it on their site. There is a photo of it on Bela's make up desk in the book, but it is so grainy the detail just isn't enough. Without a name plate, or any known photos this is difficult to prove irrefutably, but I would not offer it here if I did not believe its authenticity.

Instead of babbling amongst yourselves like a flock of cackling geese who know nothing of the actual facts, potential bidders are welcome to come inspect these pieces and documentation, and make your own conclusion in person.

Those who do not take advantage of this are either ignorant skeptics who don't want to know the facts, or haters just looking to talk trash! To those skeptics I say "Simply do not bid, and keep your 2 cents to yourselves. Your untested theories and armchair opinions are worth even less than Movie Prop Forums!"
