BEATLES English rock group, who revolutionized the music world. An incredible autograph album, with in-person signatures, assembled by a London disc jockey. It covers the 1st 3 tours made by the Beatles: 1st, Howe Agency, Moss Empire Circuit, Feb, 1963, when they were the opening act for Helen Shapiro (during the tour their "Please, Please Me" became a hit); 2nd, with Chris Montez and Tommy Roe, March, 1963; & 3rd, with Roy Orbison, April & May, 1963, where they shared top billing. The album contains about 60 signatures, all written directly into the album. On the Beatles page, Paul pens, "Best (The Beatles), Paul McCartney", followed by the signatures of George Harrison and John Lennon. Other autographs include: Billy Fury; Mark Wynter; Mike Sarne; Mike Winters; Ronnie Carroll; Jimmy Justice; Bobby Vee; Shane Fenton; Danny Williams; the Shadows; Kenny Lynch; Billie Davis; Helen Shapiro; Brook Brothers; Little Eva; Eden Kane; Jess Conrad; the Spangfields; Frank Ifield; Del Shannon; Peppi; Bo Diddley; Little Richard; Julie Grant; Duchess; Jerome; Everly Brothers; Heinz; the Crystals; Johnny Kidd; Joe Brown; the Dennisons; the Searchers; Roy Orbison; Gene Pitney; Lulu; Walker Brothers; the Troggs; etc. As a final addition to the album, the disc jockey got the signatures of the 5 original Rolling Stones, including Brian Jones, on a piece of paper. This page he tipped into the book. The exterior of the album is falling apart. The interior has a couple of cases of light soiling, but is overall in very nice condition. Most of the autographs are back to back, mostly one per page, with some adding inscriptions. A wonderful example of the 1960's music scene. $7,500-10,000
