<B>BC-53aT $5 1979</B></I><BR> This Test Note, which is denoted by its serial number beginning with "33," is one of the great late day Canadian rarities. While an estimated 500,000 were produced, they were released without public comment, entering the normal channels of commerce and circulating without collector attention. As a result, only a literal handful are known in all grades today, with uncirculated examples prohibitively scarce. PMG has graded five examples of this rarity to date, three mid-grade circulated specimens, one Gem 66 (which resides in a major US holding), and this piece from the Flynn collection, a beauty which is now ensconced in a PMG <B>Gem Uncirculated 65 EPQ </B></I>holder. we do not know what this note will realize today, but whatever the number, it likely will appear inexpensive tomorrow.<BR><I>From The Thomas M.
