<B>BC-44e $1000 1954</B></I><BR> This note bears the last signature combination used in the 1954 series, G.G. Thiessen and J.W. Crow, with these signatures found only on the $1000 denomination. The printing figure here of 240,000 is not truly relevant to rarity, as Charlton notes that the majority of these notes were not issued and later destroyed.
