<B>BC-28 $1000 1937</B></I><BR> This denomination, although part of the 1937 series, was not released until January of 1952, having been kept in the reserve stockpile of the Bank of Canada over the years, as indicated by the Osborne-Towers signatures, the only ones employed for this denomination.
