BANNOCK PRISONERS AT FORT HALL BY W.H. JACKSON. Lot of 2 albumen photographs, each 5 x 7.5" on larger mounts. Negative by W.H. Jackson, taken at Fort Hall, Idaho Territory, September 1878 during the Heyden Expedition. Both titled in negative and with strip paper label, one of "Indian Tom" another simply "Shoshoni." Acquired from the Rookwood Pottery of Cincinnati, when they moved in the 1960s. Probably printed by the Bureau of American Ethnology. With Rookwood's handstamp on verso.
