The humble petition, and reiterated complaint of Margaret Baliol, and her sisters, and other the co-heirs of Peter Baliol, Esq; deceas'd, still most humbly offer'd to the justice of this Honourable House. [London? : s.n.] [1710?]BROADSIDE, with docket title on verso, folio, folded, faint old staining : a very good copy. ESTC N38222 records only a single copy of this issue - at the National Archives. In this issue reference is made to the Queen’s declaration of 25 July 1709 which still has not been obeyed and the latest date quoted is 25 Dec 1709. Margaret and her six sisters, daughters of Peter Baliol and his wife "Dame Colonell Boden" ("We are the Baliol's, whose predecessors were the founders of Baliol-Colledge in Oxford ; and conquered the island of Guernsey, and presented the same to the crown of England"), were, under William, granted "the quit-rent of the two provinces of Munster and Leinster, and the thirds of the clergy, and the seven tenths of the first fruits in the Kingdom of Ireland".ENGLISH PRE 1801; IRELAND; LAW; LAND TENURE; CHANNEL ISLANDS; GUERNSEY; BROADSIDE; ; ; ; ;
