Printed by Mills, Jowett, and Mills, 1831FIRST EDITION THUS, with folding plate, pp 15, (1), 8vo, recent wrapper : a nice copy.Not in WorldCat or COPAC. Inscribed on half-title "The Right Honorable / Lord John George Beresford, / Primate of all Ireland, / with the author's most / respectful compliments.", and with seven corrections to the text in the same hand. B (1786-1862), rendered important services at several engage-ments in the Peninsular war where his protracting pocket sextant enabled him to make surveys with remarkable speed and accuracy.
