B. Rogers and Sons, London marked double barrel exposed hammer Damascus steel barreled shotgun in 12 gauge with 2 ¾” chambers. The gun shows 30” barrels, English style straight stock, double triggers, standard extractors, nicely engraved action and mounts. The metal surfaces show traces of original brown and case hardened finish drifting to a pleasing gray brown patina. The stocks are very good plus and the butt is checkered with a heel and toe plate. The gun locks up tight and the bores are bright. The stock measures 14 ¼” to the end of the wood with a 2 ½” drop at the heel and a 2” drop at the comb. The gun is choked improved cylinder right and improved modified left with a couple of minor dings in the left barrel. A very good quality English gun with a London address although we think it may have been made in Birmingham. Est.: $400-$800
