Broadway composer and lyricist. Twenty-nine original vintage ink sketches, some on the reverse of his 8.5 x 11 B. C. Hilliam Co. stationery, with the remaining on various size off-white sheets. Sketches depict various musical, political, and comical situations, each signed by Hilliam. Accompanied by 20 proof sheet pages, most 8.5 x 11, many depicting proofs of the sketches included, with some duplicates. In very good condition, with pencil notations and scattered toning and soiling to sketches, as well as some light edge wear. Provenance: The Barry Hoffman Collection.
