Early DS, signed “B. B. King,” one page, 8.5 x 11, February 15, 1967. Agreement for King’s concert on July 11, 1969, at the Hollywood Bowl. In part: “Artist agrees not to appear in the Los Angeles County prior to this engagement. Wage agreed upon $3,000.00 plus 6 tourist rtts. New York/Los Angeles…50% deposit upon signing contract; balance in cash end of engagement.” In fine condition, with a few wrinkles, staple holes, and a small area of missing paper at the top of the page. Accompanied by a glossy 8 x 10 photo of King posing with Lucille, signed in black felt tip, “Best Wishes, B. B. King.” A great document from the blues master in his prime!
