"Blues Boy" King first made the R&B charts in 1951, and although he charted briefly and barely on Billboard's Pop Hot 100 in 1957, it was 1969 before he achieved his first big hit on the Pop charts. This group includes mostly records heard only on R&B radio, plus his first Pop-charting record, "Be Careful With A Fool" from 1957.
