Signed book: Atlas Shrugged. First edition, later printing. NY: Random House, 1957. Hardcover with dustjacket, 6 x 9, 1168 pages. Signed and inscribed on the first free end page, “To Jerry Dodgen—Cordially—Ayn Rand 6/28/66.” A short tear along inner front hinge, a bit of trivial wear and a light drinking glass ring to front board, and a light bend along the slightly loose spine, otherwise fine condition. The dustjacket has been permanently affixed to an identical size sheet of black paper and exhibits scattered moderate creasing, toning, and a few small edge tears and missing pieces. An important classic of modern 20th century literature!
