Her novels and philosophical works, including The Fountainhead and Atlas Shrugged, take a place among the most influential literature of the twentieth century. Signed book: Atlas Shrugged. Later printing. NY: Random House, 1957. Hardcover with dustjacket, 6 x 8.75, 1168 pages. Signed on the half-title page “Ayn Rand, 4/10/77,” and also signed by her husband, “Frank O’Connor.” Some mild toning to fore-edges, small area of damp staining to back pastedown, scattered toning and creasing to dustjacket, as well as an old price label on back of dustjacket, otherwise fine condition. Book is housed in a custom clamshell box.
