Axholme Joint Railway polished wood First Aid box lettered on the front "Axholme Joint Railway BELTON" in original white paint. 221/2"x63/4"x7". No contents. Belton station, between Crowle and Epworth, opened in 1905 and closed in 1933. Note The Axholme Joint Railway was a joint undertaking of the LYR and NER opened in 1902 to operate a line from Marshland Junction, Goole to Haxey, and branches. It retained its identity under the LMS and LNER, and was nationalized in 1948.
