Three covers individually signed by aviation heroes: an FDC with an attractive artistic cachet honoring the United States Army, postmarked September 28, 145, signed above a typed caption in fountain pen, "Capt. Eddie Rickenbacker"; an Air Mail envelope with reverse bearing a 'Cristobal to Miami' stamp and a cancellation date of May 1, 1930, at the Cristobal Canal Zone, signed vertically in fountain pen by Igor Sikorsky; and an Air Mail envelope with a cachet for the "First Pacific Coast Experimental Flight," postmarked at Honolulu on January 30, 1931, signed in fountain pen by Earle Ovington, who piloted the first official airmail flight in the United States in a Bleriot XI on September 23, 1911.
